Education Fund
The Mammographers Society of Georgia is committed not only to the advancement of the profession, but also to the advancement of individual members within it. As one way of demonstrating it, The Mammographers Society of Georgia has established an education fund to assist Mammographers in pursuing their professional education. The fund is meant to assist MSG members in pursuing mammography education in Georgia.
EDUCATION FUND DESCRIPTION:
$500.00 will be made available annually, subject to Society fund availability.
CRITERIA:
The applicant’s must show that she/he :
1. A member in good standing with MSG at least 30 days prior to submitting application.
2. Applications are for education opportunities in Georgia
3. Applications are made prior to registration deadline, so no late fees are
incurred
4. Applications are completed in its entirety.
METHOD OF APPLICATION:
The applicant shall submit the complete portfolio to the Secretary of The Mammographers Society of Georgia. All of the following information must be provided in its entirety, and should be typed or word processed.
1. MSG education fund application cover sheet completed in its entirety.
2. Letter of intent explaining educational goals, how money will be used, and why he/she should receive the requested funds. (100 words or less)
NOTE: INCOMPLETE APPLICATIONS OR WILLFUL OMISSION OF
INFORMATION WILL AUTOMATICALLY INVALIDATE THE
APPLICATION. ANY QUESTIONS SHOULD BE DIRECTED TO THE
PRESIDENT OR BOARD CHAIRPERSON OF THE
MAMMOGRAPHERS SOCIETY OF GEORGIA.
PROCEDURE AND DISTRIBUTION:
1. The completed application and request must be postmarked 30 days prior to the scheduled education activity.
2. Applications will be reviewed by the MSG Board and considered
3. The MSG Board of Directors will make a final decision on recipients
and will notify recipients of awarded funds.
4. All applicants will be notified in writing of their final status.
